The Scientist

She’s smart. Incredibly smart. She’s a Physicist pursuing her PhD at North Carolina University in the United States. She’s been working with nanofibers which can be used to make artificial organs and bones. She interns as an assistant teacher during the summer. She does research, lab work and wants to publish a paper soon. She tries to get young women excited about Science. I don’t how where she gets the energy to do this, but if you look back you might be able to see the roots of her perseverance.

Wasi Mohammad is a professional flirt. He’s also a professional lawyer at the Patna High Court, but I would not have believed that of him when we met at college. Fair, with a dark mop of hair that falls in a flick across his forehead, molten caramel eyes and what most people would call a…

One of the scariest texts ever

Can I ask you something? Those five, loaded words. The moment I see them in my inbox, which is quite often, my heart does a somersault and thuds audibly against my ribcage. That text always scares me and thrills me at the same time. What is it with men asking me that all the time?…

Foolish thoughts

Man has many foolish thoughts And like every other thought Each foolish thought counts Like the wish for fulfilment In the sinking of sun-kissed pennies To the bottom of romantic founts The foolish trust in friends Or those we inevitably think of In agonising moments of trouble Not knowing that, they are as Incapable of…
